Demonstration 1: Record the PowerPoint with Camtasia Studio
Exercise 1: Record the PowerPoint with Camtasia Studio
Complete the following steps to practice recording an existing PowerPoint.
Open the MAT2793 - Angle of Elevation and Slope 100.pptx presentation.
Using speaker notes, click on the Record button on the Add Ins menu to record the presentation. Be sure to narrate using your notes.
Once you have finished the presentation, click on 'Stop Recording' in the dialog box.
Save the recording to a folder location you can find. When your video appears, preview it to see how you have done.
Perform additional takes if needed to become comfortable.

Drag the recording onto the timeline.
Create a split and remove a segment from your recording.

Complete the following steps to produce and share the recording on your personal YouTube Channel.
Click on the 'Produce and Share' button.
When the first dialog screen of the Produce and Share Wizard appears, select YouTube as the production profile. Click 'Next'.
Enter in your gmail account username and password on the next screen. Click 'Next'.
Enter in the title, description, tags and category for your presentation. Click 'Next' and 'Finish'.
When the YouTube page for your new video on your channel appears, click on the Share tab. Copy and paste the link into an email, such as gmail, and send to workshop colleagues.
